MBI is a primary (OEM) supplier of COT 1 DNA for use in Florescent In-situ hybridization (FISH), microarrays, and related studies. DNA is extracted from sources such as human placenta, salmon sperm, herring sperm, rabbit, rat, mouse, chicken, bovine, and other poultry and cattle sources.
Custom Media, Buffers, Production & Packaging Services
Sterile filtered or steam sterilized liquids:
MBI develops and manufactures standard and custom liquid reagents. All custom product requests undergo a standard process approval plan. Documentation, product manufacturing, packaging and quality control criterion are established. Incoming material specifications and final product specifications are developed. The batch sizes are determined and schedules are communicated. Product development/packaging plans transferred and added to SOPS. Pre-production samples are provided to ensure they meet with specifications.
Our steam sterilization batch capacity ranges from 1 liter to 612 liters of liquids. Ultrapure (Biotech /ACS grade) chemicals are used in the manufacture of all products. Sterile products are packaged in class 10K laminar flow hoods/clean rooms.
Kit development and packaging consultation services are provided as a part of the process.
Custom packaging containers include: Microtubes, culture tubes, sterile IV bags, shaker flasks, PC & PETG media bottles. Kit manufacturing service available.
Powders:
Media or buffer powders can be blended, milled, sifted, weighed and dispensed under aseptic and non-sterile conditions. Powders can be packaged in plastic containers or specified by the customers.
Agar/Agarose/Starch semi-solid Media:
Semisolid media is autoclaved and dispensed into sterile bottles, flasks, petri dishes and containers of choice. Agar plates are available in 100x15mm round, 150x15mm round, 100x100mm square, 245x245mm bioassay square, 6, 24, & 96 well trays.
Quality Control Services include but not limited to:
Sterility Assurance Level, bio-burden, pH, conductivity/resistivity, electrophoresis, OD (visible/UV spectrum), microbial culture, growth, nucleic acid assays, pcr and as specified by the customers.
